Information that is stored and held by us

• Information you provide such as name, address, telephone number, email address and card details.

• Your account login details including your username and password

• Any previous orders made - We can access what you ordered and how much you previously paid which is stored in our website (mysocks.co.uk) database and our 3rd party service provider Linnworks.net and PayPal Pro payment system.

All information we ask for is necessary to make our services available to you.

Card Details We need your card details in order for you to place and pay for your goods as well as allowing us to make refunds when applicable. You can feel totally safe when placing an order online with us. Our secure sockets layer (SSL) uses 128-bit encryption, which is the highest level possible. Once your order has been transferred to our order processing system all credit card details are removed from the website as an added precaution and our sales order processing system and internal network are protected by the latest proxy technology. This does mean you have to give your card details every time you place an order with us but this minor inconvenience does ensure that it is totally safe to shop with us. We have 3D verification system for your payment to ensure you are the only person using your card. We also use Trustwave security program which does monthly checks to ensure our website is secure and comply for PCI DSS compliances which means secure for accepting credit or debit card. This makes the risk of fraud on our website very low. We are confident that no unauthorised person or organisation will be able to access the credit / debit card information we record.

Address and Billing Details – Your address is only used for payment and delivery. Your address will be seen by our warehouse packers and the delivery servies. This is essential in order for you to receieve your ordered goods.

Email Address We use your email address to keep you up to date with your order. Once your order is placed you will receive an order confirmation and a shipping confirmation. We may also use your email if we need to get in contact with any problems we are having with your order. Your email address is also used to access your account (if applicable.) There is an option to tick if you would like to receive our newsletters. This is only optional. 14 days after we despatch your order, you will receive an email from Yotpo.com (3rd Party Company) to ask you about your shopping experience in order for us to make our services better for you, to answer this email and leave a review is compleately optional.

Telephone Number – Your telephone number is only optional. It is used to keep you up to date with you order once your parcel is with a courier. We may also use it to contact you if we have any issues with your order.

We do have several different social media pages. Please be aware if you like or follow us on any social media networks, your information may be available for others to see on social media. You are responsible for your own privacy settings on all social media accounts.
